Early Career
Began as a Service Engineer with Material Research Instruments (MRI) — among the first companies to introduce HPLCs, ICP, and spectrophotometers to Indian laboratories, representing global principals including Waters, Bruker, Dionex, and Jobin Yvon. Received advanced technical training in Bremen (Germany), Longjumeau (France), and Edinburgh (Scotland), and conducted HPLC installation and qualification projects in Luton, England.

From Servicing to Manufacturing
After four years at MRI, founded Caterpillar Systems & Services — a specialist HPLC and spectrophotometer service firm. Proximity to laboratory instruments led to fabricating ancillary components such as column ovens, and naturally evolved into full-scale instrument manufacturing with Takahe.

Technical Role at Takahe
Leads all product design, engineering, and manufacturing. Has personally designed every generation of the Nitrogen Evaporator range — from the original SpeedoVap through the 100, 144, and 180-position high-throughput systems — and driven expansion into SPE, vortexers, shakers, spinners, and nitrogen generators.
